"TOYS THAT TEACH," a special giveaway event that is specifically designed for early childhood educators and providers! Toys that Teach is not just a giveaway – it’s also an opportunity for us to connect and collaborate in new and meaningful ways.

Early childhood educators are now eligible for Health and Safety Reimbursement Scholarships for the new fiscal year (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025) at Connections for Children!

The Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP) is a comprehensive program designed to assist individuals in opening their own home-based child care facility.

This Advocacy Day, the early care and education community marched to the Sacramento Legislative Building to advocate against proposed budget cuts to the Emergency Child Care Bridge Program for Foster Children (Bridge Program) and other programs supporting working families in California.

Quality Start Los Angeles (QSLA) is a county-wide Quality Improvement System (QIS) designed to empower early learning providers to build upon and improve the quality of care they provide to children ages birth to five.

Connections for Children celebrated our annual Staff Appreciation Day with a special activity facilitated by Piece by Piece. This unique collaboration brought Piece by Piece artists and instructors to lead a mosaic art workshop for our staff, resulting in a beautiful mosaic art piece that will be proudly displayed in the CFC main office. ☀️

The Betsy Awards 2024 proved to be a resounding success, bringing together a diverse group of individuals, organizations, and sponsors to honor the remarkable achievements of Shari Davis and the Los Angeles Partnership for Early Childhood Investment.

Connections for Children Celebrates Early Childhood Champions at the 2024 Betsy Awards on April 28th!

Connections for Children is pleased to announce our co-location at Santa Monica College Student Service Center. This collaboration aims to provide valuable resources and support eligible student parents and the surrounding community who are in need of childcare services.

For over 20 years, Connections for Children has provided free Family Time services to the communities we serve! For parents and caregivers, Family Time serves as a blueprint for engaging with their little ones, offering guidance on how to play and learn together.

This year, Connections for Children has taken significant steps to enroll more families than ever! In the last few months, CFC staff contacted over 2,000 families who expressed interest in our subsidized childcare programs.
