This workshop introduces information about early brain development and the relationship between cognition and language development in infancy. We will explore what is happening in the child’s brain while trying to acquire language. We will explore how genes and environment influences language, brain growth, and early literacy. We will provide guides for fostering language development through social interactions and bilingualism.
