Connections for Children (CFC) is excited to invite our community to celebrate our 50-year anniversary by nominating an early care and education champion for the 2026 Iao Katagiri Community Impact Award, presented at our Betsy Awards.
Connections for Children’s PHS trainings are Emergency Media Services Authority (EMSA) certified and meet California’s child care licensing requirements. We also offer free EMSA-certified trainings on safe sleep, disaster preparedness, and active shooter preparedness.

Celebrate our Core Value Award recipients, honored at Connections for Children's 2025 Staff Appreciation Luncheon!
Connections for Children (CFC) hosted its first Provider Appreciation Brunch! This vibrant gathering welcomed more than 80 child care providers to connect, celebrate, and center their vital roles in early childhood education. The brunch offered a special space for child care providers to network with peers and learn more about CFC’s robust workforce development and family engagement programs.
Connections for Children, in partnership with Pa’lante Therapy and the Child Care Bridge Program, hosted a free, five-session Provider Mental Wellness Group series designed to support child care providers’ mental health and resilience.
Connections for Children proudly hosted the Stronger Together: Nurturing Growth through Trauma-Informed Care Conference at the Veterans Memorial Building in Culver City. The conference brought together 32 early educators and child care providers for a powerful day of learning, reflection, and connection. Centered on resilience, regulation, and healing centered practices, the event offered a space to deepen trauma-informed approaches that support both children and those who care for them.
