This summer, Connections for Children (CFC) hosted its first Provider Appreciation Brunch! This vibrant gathering welcomed more than 80 child care providers to connect, celebrate, and center their vital roles in early childhood education. The brunch offered a special space for child care providers to network with peers and learn more about CFC’s robust workforce development and family engagement programs.
As part of this celebration, we recognized providers for their outstanding contributions and impact. Honorees included those with long-standing service to CFC, participants in our professional development trainings, early childhood advocates who have served on community college panels, and child care champions who are hosting elected officials for educational site visits. As a tribute to their hard work, providers received free educational resources and self-care materials.
One provider shared: “I feel honored to be part of the first annual CFC Provider Appreciation event. I will be pushing more of my staff to join next year,”
The event offered more than a moment of appreciation; it strengthened connections across the early care and education (ECE) community, reminding providers of their invaluable role in supporting families and shaping early childhood outcomes. Providers left recharged and reaffirmed, with many expressing their deep appreciation to be part of a strong network of devoted ECE professionals and change agents. We are excited to make this event an annual tradition that continues to honor the impact and essential role of our amazing providers and create new opportunities for early childhood educators to make meaningful connections!
