Connections for Children (CFC) hosted its first ECE Empowerment Summit on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Shade Hotel in Redondo Beach, bringing together 48 Early Childhood Education (ECE) professionals for a day of learning, connection, and renewal. Centered around the theme, Rooted in Resiliency, the summit highlighted the importance of supporting ECE educators as they navigate the emotional and professional demands of their work. Attendees engaged in meaningful learning experiences designed to strengthen both personal well-being and professional practices, reinforcing the vital role resilience plays in sustaining high-quality early childhood education.
Throughout the summit, participants explored topics focused on transforming burnout into resilience and cultivating grounded, mindful approaches to working with children and families. Sessions emphasized trauma-informed care, equipping providers with practical strategies to better understand and respond to the experiences of the children in their care. Workshops also addressed stress management, emotional regulation, and reflective practices, helping educators deepen their awareness and build sustainable habits that promote both personal wellness and positive classroom outcomes.
