National Child Care Provider Appreciation Day
"A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove. . .but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."

May 9th is National Child Care Provider Appreciation Day. It's a special day to recognize all of the amazing women and men who work with young children and help them grow and thrive.
Provider Appreciation Day was started in 1996 by a group of volunteers in New Jersey who wanted to recognize the tireless efforts of child care providers. It's celebrated each year on the Friday before Mother's Day in all 50 states as well as in Canada, Europe & Asia.
Please join all of us at Connections For Children as we thank the wonderful child care providers and early educators who work tirelessly to make a positive impact in the lives of young children every single day.
For more information on celebrating child care providers and mothers too, take a look at our most recent issue of Connecting with Connections.
