2019 Betsy Awards & Reception

On April 24, 2019, we held the first annual Betsy Awards at the Marina Del Rey Marriott. This fundraising event & awards presentation honored recently retired Connections' Executive Director and Early Childhood Advocate Patti Oblath, and humanitarian, civic leader, and real estate developer Bob Ruth. We'd like to thank the generous businesses and individuals that donated to this event and the silent auction. We appreciate your support, as all proceeds from this event will help fund the vital work we do for early education and childcare all year long. 

Holiday Angels Program

Our annual Holiday Angels Program is a year-end treat we give to the children enrolled in our child care subsidy programs and their families. This event wouldn’t be possible without wonderful volunteers who help collect new toys, books and other special gifts. Our volunteers are also our “elves,” wrapping gifts, helping families and spreading holiday cheer.
